Reverse Engineering Services, Ltd (REL) has extensive worldwide experience in a wide range of decommissioning diciplines. To date REL has worked on decommissioning issues worldwide concerning over 580 offshore facilities, and numerous pipelines, subsea gathering & processing facilities and onshore processing facilities.
REL has worked for major oil and gas operators around the world, including UK, Norway, Netherlands, Greece, Canada, Gulf of Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, West Coast & GOM USA, Brunei and Malaysia.
REL is an engineering consultancy specializing in all aspects of abandonment, decommissioning, deconstruction and re-use of obsolete or redundant facilities both on and offshore. Over the last 23 years REL have carried out all types of peer reviews of decommissioning projects, decommissioning studies, cost analysis for decommissioning accruals, managed decommissioning technology development of joint industry projects, acted as expert witnesses in decommissioning cost disputes and been involved in the post decommissioning analysis of removals in the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea. Many of previous REL studies have included socioeconomic impact analyses, cost/benefit assessment and decision analysis methodology.
